Learn how to split images into equal grids or custom pieces, adjust cut positions and save PNG, JPG or ZIP files with PicLever.
Split multiple images together
In batch mode, apply the same rows and columns to up to 20 images. Custom positions use percentages instead of pixels. For example, enter 25,75 for vertical cuts and leave horizontal cuts blank to create three pieces at 25% and 75% of each image’s width.
Results are limited to 500 files and 64 MB in total. ZIP files use a numbered folder for each source so duplicate names do not overwrite one another. Stopping keeps completed results; changing settings or running again clears previous results.
Equal grids: rows and columns
Rows divide the image vertically and columns divide it horizontally. Two rows and three columns produce six pieces. Use this mode for evenly sized tiles.
If dimensions do not divide evenly, pieces can differ by one pixel. An 801×601px image split into two rows and two columns has widths of 400px and 401px, and heights of 300px and 301px. No source area is skipped or duplicated.
Custom cuts: place your own lines
Add vertical or horizontal cuts, then drag them in the preview or enter their pixel positions. Vertical positions are measured from the left; horizontal positions from the top.
Focus a line and use arrow keys to move it by one pixel. Duplicate or out-of-bounds positions are not allowed. Remove unwanted lines with their delete buttons in the settings panel.
Before you save
Generate the pieces to see their actual dimensions. PNG keeps transparency; JPG fills transparent areas with white. Preview zoom does not change output resolution.
Download all as ZIP to get files named with row and column numbers, such as image_r01_c01. Save results before changing settings or navigating away. The current image is not restored after a refresh.
